I think we have a very good young manager in the making. His interviews on the radio are a world away from the same old meaningless dross we got during the previous incumbents press conferences week after week after week. He comes across as a very honest, intelligent man and he articulates the point he is making very well. He wasn’t top of my list but I have to admit that I am now confident he is the right man. It is only very early but all the signs are good. I think he will sort the team out, the players will know who is the boss and those lazy players who want a wage for no commitment will have no place to hide. Likewise those not good enough will be or will have already identified. I can see exactly why Patrick, Don and Barry were so keen to get him in. Welcome to the club Mark. Roll on Saturday.
There's still this fear that we (as a club) though could eventually become caught between the devil and the deep blue sea when it comes to his career. If it doesn't go well, there will be those who say "told you so" and we are back to square 1, but if he does very well, there will be other clubs with more clout than us knocking on the door for his services.
Welcome Mark, well done for your efforts thus far and long may it continue.

I agree, the likely pitfall of him doing a good job is that he wont be with us very long. He has shown he has ambitions and this wont change.
