Signing so many players. At the start of the season we thought it was a good idea because we had strength in depth. But judging on how we're playing this season it's clear to see he's signed to many players. He can't get his best 11. There isn't any consistency at all. Because we had such a tight group of players last season they were all clearly fighting for eachother but doesn't seem like the unity is there anymore. No fight or passion. Players don't know wether there coming or going. The problem is that no player is safe or can feel complacent but he's changing them with players that aren't as good. The only 3 players that are safe in this team no matter how well they play or how rubbish they play are kelvin, Dawson and Perkins. And obviously cog but he is our best player.

Football does not work like that, they are a squad and are treated as such. All the players will be together and know why they are playing and not playing. I agree we need to alter midfield, we are too defensive minded. This is because of the pressure created to try and win

This bit baffles me! how can being so negative in midfield be because we want to win ? Surely if we wanted to win so badly, we would be more attacking in this area?
I admit I am an old fuddy duddy, but I fail to understand how playing 3 defensive player in the middle makes us more likely to score goals and win matches!

Bloody hell. Last season everybody on here seemed to bemoan the fact that the squad was too small; the management go out and obtain players; and what do we get from moaners? The squads too large.

The squad is fine and before a ball was kicked, everyone was very excited about it. In my view, the problems are several.

    1. Injuries. Way too many, for way too long. Not just the amount of injuries we pick up, but the length of time it seems to take to get them back.
    2. Cohesion. Probably partly to do with injuries, but we just can't seem to get a settled squad. Great having a large squad, but we need a settled line up.
    3. Position. Too many tactical changes, too many players out of position (Dawson on the wing - WTF is that about!?). My concern is that Flicker & co are over-thinking things, and trying to be too clever.

Easy to say we don't have the quality, when we're losing games. The same squad gave us a top 6 2013, so I disagree with that. Plus we've strengthened
We have to stay confident, and see where we are come Christmas....again
