I,m doing a drive for "our lass" and i need to know how to work out how much concrete i,m going to need, it,s 22 ft long and is going tobe 8,9,10 feet wide depending on the metreage (?) it needs tobe 4 inches thick.
well the volume in cubic feet is
22 *8 (or 9 or 10) * 0.333 (4 inches is 1/3 of a foot)
= 59 cubic feet (or 66 or 73)
Not sure what concrete is sold in but divide by 35 to get cubic metres
disclaimer - I hope I got this right but dont take any responsibility if you order the wrong amount

I suggest... ...asking this question on the Doncaster Rovers board. Pikeys have far more drive-tarmacing wisdom. Bribe them with a dag.
RE: Approx. Just done my drive and it was in similar size, and i'd say "at least" 2 meters and expect to get more.

RE: Approx. Best place is Appleton mini mix, The Yard in monk bretton, and its the cheapest, i paid 180 for 2 meters. yet the same firm that operates at carlton ind est wanted to charge me 280 for the same 2 meters
Tel:- 01226 215255
