Anyone agree with him I thought we should have had at least 1 pen

Seen highlights from Sat: 1) Ref was right for pen shouts. 2) Steele should've done better for 2nd goal but without him would have been 4-1!

    No Golbourne was brought down.

Steele made the two saves before we conceded. They wouldn't have got the corners if we conceded the two goal from open play.

I thought Goldbourne should have had a penalty at the time, not seen it again. My mate was adament at the time that he'd dived.

Thought the Mellis one was more a pen than Golbourne's

I thought Golbourne's was a naield-on penalty from whwre I sit in ESL.

BUT if ref didn't give it 'cos he dove, then why no yellow card?

Poor refereeing all afternoon to be honest.

    From where I sit

Both looked like penalties. Although I accept others, who have stated neither were spot kicks, may well have got a better view than me.

    Re: From where I sit

From where I sit, two seats down, I couldn't tell. But I think that was because I was bored by that time and I was just picking my nose and not paying any attention.

If I was ever in the vicinity of a crime I'd make the worst eye witness. I can never be sure if a penalty claim is a good tackle or a foul even when it happens right in front of me.

First one clattered over definate penalty every day of the week. Second one not too sure. It looked less of a penalty and seemed like Golbourne was looking for it abit with us losing and already having a shout turned away.

Thank god for that. After finally putting a face to the name this comes as a relief. Although I have to apologise, ya know how you build a picture of someone before you meet them, for some reason I pictured you to look like that bloke off the Simpson's, the one who owns that comic shop. Lol, sorry mate no idea why I'd got that picture

    Re: From where I sit

Same here Jay, I'd make a terrible witness. Sometimes I'm sure it was a penalty and the replay proves it was a perfect tackle, other times I'm positive he got the ball and the replay shows him having his legs snapped in half. 99% of the time though I simply haven't got a clue whether it was or not.

In fact I'm struggling to even remember the incidents in question, I vaguely remember people shouting for a penalty but can't remember whether I thought it was or not. I can't even remember who was involved.

Yes your honour, I definitely remember seeing either a black or white man, erm or woman, doing something on that street at roughly that time. Come to think of it though it might have been a dog and it could have been on a totally different street on a different day.
