Big difference to wanting him on loan and transfer though. I imagine United would be looking at the later. Though in the right set up I think he could definitely perform there. Not sure why you're having another dig at Clarke ? Some players just fit in with certain clubs. Hammill being the prime example

He's good player but Nwakali and Connell are both in front of him. The only downside to releasing him back is he'll strengthen a rival. But if will free up funds to get in someone else.

Questionable signing really, nothing to do with the lad himself, just trying to understand the process of why we brought him here when we have Connell, Phillips, Russell, Benson, trying to develop Yoganathan, Hourihane at the time saying he would play some games and then we brought in Kelechi Nwakali.
Just a slot taken up in the squad when those resources could have been used more Wisley in other area's.
Good luck to the lad

Our recent form in league 1 is patchy at best and he cannot even get on as a sub.
Sheffield United want to spend cash to buy him and next season could be two leagues above us.

I think the assumption is Connell & Phillips would be box to box doing the lot & Craig would be the anchor. That didn't work & Connell has only really worked sitting deeper & doing more of the dirty stuff which has meant that Craig has missed out. It's fair enough.

If United sign him, the likelihood is they'll send him out on loan to get experience, like Spurs have done.
Nobody in the Championship/Premier League is signing him with a view to him slotting straight into their side.

I’d imagine Mansfield would be a loan and the other two probably a permanent deal.
