Can you answer the following questions?

Why do we constantly play the long ball when apart from on one occasion all night did it work? The ball comes straight back down our throats 99% of the time particularly against big sides like Hudders n Brentford etc. We play much better on the floor.

Why have you bought and play Tommy Wright? The guy has shown the ability of a pub footballer (and thats being kind). If he doea have any skill he is so obviously out of form its untrue. As for his discipline its none existent. Someone the other night at the match said he needs sectioning and to be honest the way he looks for the man rather than the ball makes you wonder if he is all there.

Why did you make substitutions just when we were on top of the gamer for the first time? We lost momentum when we change two players and it ultimately cost us the game.

Why does Paul Reid have the captains armband. He doesnt organise the defence. We were all over the place in the first half of the game. He tries to be clever with the ball in front of goal and is generally a liability. He is too young to be skipper and needs telling what he is doing wrong. Antony Kay has improved by doing the simple things. Maybe Reidy needs to do the same.

Why have we bought complete duds when it comes to goalscorers? If we had a couple of players who hit the net regularly we would have walked this league. You have brought them in and you have worked with them all season and yet how many goals from open play have they all scored in the last couple of months?

Why did you not bring in more experienced players. The team is too young. Ive thought this all season but you insisted on just bringing young players in. They need a couple of veterans in the side. If you llok at all the other clubs who have done well in this league they all have experienced tough players who know how to get out of this league.

Last of all.

Good luck on Monday Andy!

Would you like it, if Ritchie questioned what you did at work? The guy has got us into the playoffs

Were only ONE goal down, the guy has worked wonders this season to get us in this position, wether we get promoted or not, we all should be proud of this seasons effort.

hes welcome to come and question

what i do at work, providing he pays up for the privelage. Not knocking the fact that the team has got to the play offs just pointing out what i see as faults and mistakes he has made. I would hazard a guess that a lot of people believe he has made these mistakes too but would rather see through rose tinted specs.
The best football teams, managers or companies learn from their mistakes. Who gave Andy Ritchie immunity? If Andy Ritchie feels he hasnt made errors this season then i would say he is an arrogant arse. Ive made mistakes at work and i own up to them.

If you want a positive to balance out the negatives i think Andy has done a great job with team morale and allowed the players to play with much more freedom than they had before. Also some praise to the coaching staff for Antony Kay as i think he has improved a lot this season.

Us The Fans....

have been here long before ritchie and will be here long after him too. i agree with the original comments. if ritchie had paid hundreds of pounds over alot of years to watch the guy at work then ritchie too would have the right to complain. if we dont go up then fact is we have achieved NOTHING this season. typical english attitude being happy with losing in playoffs AGAIN. how about showing some of that winning australian mentality where they hate losing and if they do dont say crap like "we have done well".

RE: But some of us fed up fans

What we want from the team is progress- and that is what we have seen this season. We are a much better side than last year and that is what we need to build on.
We hae too much negativity at this club from the fans and that is what holds this club back. Look at recent results and ask why we have been better away from home and I feel that its because the fans get behind the team there, and there is less pressure from the we should have won this league by a thousand points brigade.

Nothing is perfect and never will be, but I feel that we have a stable side with a manager who appears to foster a good spirit in his players. This tie isn't over and I for one believe that we can go to Huddersfield and win.

In general we can say there has been much progress...........but

with a bit extra on top of this we shouldn't be in the play offs
WE SHOULD HAVE GOT AUTOMATIC
But if we don't go up, and i for one have been saying for weeks that we wouldn't, then it will be very interesting in the close season to watch who goes and who comes in
I said this for weeks as well - Ritchie has till Christmas to prove himselve
As for moaning - it's fine to moan on here, but don't do it at the WELL !!!

Simple Really...

its not a question of progress. simply if we dont go up we have NO CHANCE IN HELL of keeping the out of contract players who are capable of championship level like colgan, hassell, mcphail, shuker. flinders will also be going and i doubt very much based on who ritchie as brought in that the replacements would be as good. so if we cant go up with this set of players then god help us next season.

haha oldham are even worse. the players hate the manager for releasing david ayres and hated him before that. the fans hate moore too for signing crap. we have it good here compared to the things that happen behind the scenes which i cant go into.

Can you answer the following questions?

Why do we constantly play the long ball when apart from on one occasion all night did it work? The ball comes straight back down our throats 99% of the time particularly against big sides like Hudders n Brentford etc. We play much better on the floor. AGREE - VALID POINT

- I THINK WE NEED TO GIVE HIM TIME, MAYBE I'M TOO OPTIMISTIC

Why did you make substitutions just when we were on top of the gamer for the first time? We lost momentum when we change two players and it ultimately cost us the game. - DISAGREE HERE - RICHARDS AND NARDI WERE INEFFECTIVE ALL NIGHT APART FROM 2 NARDI SHOTS. TEAM WAS PLAING AND MAYBE WE NEEDED SOMETHING DIFFERENT. MADE SENSE TO SUB STRIKERS

Maybe Reidy needs to do the same. tOTALLY DISAGREE - REID SHOULD STAY AS SKIPPER. WHEN HART SIGNED HIM HE SAID DESPISES LOSING AND IS A TOTAL LEADER WHO WON'T BE AFRAID TO TELL BIG NAMES THAT THEY AREN'T PUTTING THE EFFORT IN. WHO ELSE WOULD YOU PUT AS CAPTAIN?

Why have we bought complete duds when it comes to goalscorers? If we had a couple of players who hit the net regularly we would have walked this league. You have brought them in and you have worked with them all season and yet how many goals from open play have they all scored in the last couple of months? RICHARDS HAD A GREAT START, HAYES WAS QUALITY LAST YEAR. THE PROB HAS BEEN THAT NARDI HAS BEEN THAT **** (AND WRIGHT TOO) THAT HAYES AND RICHARDS HAVE GOT COMPLACENT

Why did you not bring in more experienced players. The team is too young. Ive thought this all season but you insisted on just bringing young players in. They need a couple of veterans in the side. If you llok at all the other clubs who have done well in this league they all have experienced tough players who know how to get out of this league. HE TRIED WITH WINDASS BUT I AGREE

Last of all.

Good luck on Monday Andy! AYE - WE'RE GONNA NEED IT

the only thing i disagree with is this

THE PROB HAS BEEN THAT NARDI HAS BEEN THAT ****

He can't have been that bad, his scoring record is 3 times as good as Paul Hayes' this season. Did you know that despite only scoring 6 goals and not hitting the net since february, Andy Ritchie has only felt it necessary to not play Paul Hayes for one league game this season?

Oh yeah..

'cos we look like creating loads of chances when Hayes doesn't play.

We've spent the last hour on here lamenting the wingers for a lack of chances created. Who has set up the goals that got us here?

Paul Hayes.

The problem is that for whatever reason, we seem to refuse to play him WITH Nardiello, as we did when we trounced Oldham at Oakwell.

Have read so many things on this board about Tommy Wright most of them very negative. I have been reading this board for several months and just want to add that I know in this world of football there isn't enough time for players to "settle in" when they come to a new team, but in Tommy's defence he has had a rough last year, leaving his "home town" club after a new manager took over.

He is a good player, or always has been in the past and I reckon that given time he should begin to show some of the form that got him to play for the young england side in the past.

I have been following your team since he joined and have been well cheering you all on in play-offs. Good luck on Monday. Hope you reach the final:$
