I have to admit I'm in two minds about McCarthy returning as manager. Pro's: 1)He could probabley bring in a better standard of player than Ritchie. How many of these "Premiership Players" that Ritchie's missed out on bringing in on loan would have come if McCarthy had been in charge? 2)The Players would definitely have more respect for the Manager. It's much harder to be in charge of your "mates" as you're too concerned about upsetting them. 3)"Bums on Seats" Cons: 1) Would he consider himself "bigger than the club"? 2) Could we afford to pay him AND the players? 3) Has any loyalty and affection he had for the club gone? Remember how he refused to loan us players earlier in the season? "These are just my views and are not intended to represent anyone but myself.
