Would like us to sign a Sollbauer type of centre half who’s a talker and a organiser it kind of worked at the other end of pitch signing Norwood last season.

Exactly this. I hope us letting Moon leave is a sign that we're looking at someone other than Debrah and Loparta as incoming centre backs.

I guess that's one of Collins' first decisions.

Ano we have Kitching but Mads and Bobby Thomas did a lot of the talking so a older experienced head would do us nicely in my opinion but not sure who’s out there.

    Good luck to the lad.

Unfortunately it seems we'll have no Jasper and Kasper combo :(

Good luck to him, hope it works out for him.

Whilst we need replacements post haste, I have to admit I'm relieved he isn't part of the starting plans; know there's lots of time for improvement and sure it will come but a couple of his showings for us have been pretty much as bad as anyone I can remember. Port Vale away last season in the Pizza cup was Keith Brown-esque. Forest away the season before, similar.

Wouldn’t have minded seeing him back with us after he reportedly did well last season at Burton. He was awful in the championship for us but not many weren’t in that season and he did get messed about a bit.

    Good luck to him though.

Yes, I felt very sorry for him that season. Very rarely played the same position for two games running. He was never going to improve doing that. Always found it odd that players like him and Jordan Williams would be expected to be able to play all over the pitch while likes of Kitching and for much of that relegation season, Helik would have their positions set in stone.

Certainly inept coaching and decisions hindered him that season.

Whoever he plays for this season, I wish him well.

I wish him all the very best. Sounds like Burton are a good club for him. Doubt many will have any complaints with him moving on, however I worry that all the traffic is moving in the wrong direction. As it stands the squad just keeps getting lighter.

If he's off then good luck to him - did very well there last season and showed he was a competent L1 defender. It was an excellent scenario for him to be one of a back three with the very experienced Brayford and Burton's best player Hughes. Would love it if Sam Hughes was coming the other way but I suspect it's highly unlikely.

That relegation season was awful for supporters and I'm sure the players felt the same. And Moon was one of those who suffered most imo. He wasn't ready and shouldn't have been left as exposed as he was.

I still think he could become a very good player and it's probably good to get a fresh start, particularly somewhere he's done well as he did at Burton. In recent years there are a few players we've let go as not good enough who are now playing at a higher level. I hope we're not saying the same thing about him in a couple of years.

Anyway, good luck to you Jasper - hope it works out well for you.

The absolute best move all around. He got destroyed week in week out the other season, not his fault, but pure negligence from the board & management team. I’m sure he’ll make a name for himself & work his way up the leagues. Good look Jasper!
