Why do we wind up with more than one thread (sometimes 4/5) that basically say the same thing?

Surely, one thread which we all can read and contribute on?

Or is just that some people like to have a sense of importance and think they will be liked if they constantly start new ones?

    Rant over, back to work.

Because when they get merged together they then read slightly odd. It got tried and it wasn't well received. And I agree with the posters who hated it.

Think the point is, there isnt a need to create more than one in the first place.

Yeah I know that. Getting my 2 pence in before someone suggests merging them again

I think you've just answered your own questions. Usual offenders.

Some people don't like contributing to other people threads, they feel too important for that and need to create their own :D, or they are just too plain lazy to see if there is already another similar thread.

    I have given up lol
