Maybe the table is slightly misleading?</p> We are 9th in terms of ppg gained when scoring first. But if you look at points gained when scoring first (53) we are 3rd, behind Southend and Oldham. I assume this is because we have taken the lead more than anyone else.</p>
correct but the point I was hoping to make was........... that if we take the lead it would be best if we held on to it !!
Agreed.... Our record is also awful when our opponents score first!</p> So basically we have to score and then stop being sloppy!</p>
glad you made me check that one because.... it throws up a very important stat-namely Oldham have lost 11 of the 12 games where the opposition scores first-so lads - out of the traps pronto on the 15th !!!
