If he gets the job fair enough. On the back of 3 decent performances and beating Leeds with loads to spare everything is hunky dory. You all know as soon as we lose a game the "cheap option, K>Hills mate cries will come out".I think the man is on a hiding to nowt.If you get the job I will say well done and you will get my total backing but I also hope your shoulders are broad enough to take the flak after any defeat.

you've got a point. this is a fickle game. i think the big difference is, most of the opposition up to now was based on the view that it would just be a continuation of keith hill. which is completely understandable. what people saw today was something very different. in my opinion, flicker turned a lot of people round today. huge respect for that.

I was one of the many people with a changed opinion today.

I understand the "cheap option" cries will come if it doesn't work but I don't see any reason why Flicker shouldn't be appointed tomorrow. He's proved himself and changed most of the doubters minds which is a pretty hard thing to do with us lot. Bringing in someone new seems too much of a risk now. We've had 3 promising performances and it would be difficult to axe him now!

    agrre with you totally, however

he does have a"Get out of Jail Free" card. If we go down he has the option to blame Mr Hill. Now that would show just how close they really are/were. If he was to keep us up, he could say he just carried on with the legacy that his dear mate Keef left him.Or say that he knew all along that the team had it in them but Keef had no Idea.He is in a no lose situation actually.

any potential manager would also have the 'get out of jail free card' if we went down,it wouldnt be their fault and all that.
