Colgan - 8 - Dint really put a foot wrong and bailed the defence out when they slipped up

Kay - 8 - Never stopped running and defended well.

Hassel - 7 - Did well but had a couple of mix ups with Colgan.

Tonge - 8 - Put in two brilliant challenges that prevented scoring chances. Need to work on his distribution a little and release the ball quicker but excellent propect. I like him.

Hecky - 6 - The weak link at the back. Some timely interceptions but constantly pulled out of position and too slow to get up and down. Useful with the long throws though. Not up to championship if we did go up.

Howard - 8 - Again a top class performace. Often the one to take the ball and run with it to create space and openings.

Mcphail - 8 - Class again. Disappeared a little in the second half when we were under the cosh but i just hope we go up so we can hang onto him. Cant see him staying in this league another year.

Devaney - 7 - Not much from him but came in useful at the end to run the clock down. Unlucky not to score.

Shuker - 6 - Im a shukes fan but nothing went for the guy today. Id still start him on thursday though.

Nads - 9 - Would be an 8 and had his usual drop in interest after he had missed 3 glorious chances. When he thinks things aint going for him he switches off. Lucky he stayed on and made that penalty out of nothing. He was shitting himself when he took the pen but buried it! So my MOM. Also got into the positions to score. First half he could have had a hatrick.

Richards - 8 - Difficult to see the goal from the other end of the pitch but a great time to break your goal drought. Fingers crossed nads and richards will keep scoring now. Hes so quick when he wants to be. If he starts chasing something he can cover the ground really quick. He seems to come in and out of the game.

Wright - 7 - We had a sweep for how long before he got booked. 5 mins. Well i think it was about that! lol. But he had been put in a headlock by thei player and that got him sent of for 2 yellows. Hed had a scuufle with him in the box just before and and definitely wound him up. I though he looked quite sharp in the warm up and also did well when he came on. Will see how he comes on next season. If he calms down and matures a bit he could be ok.

Mcparland - 7 - Did well when he cam on and almost created a goal. Looked quite lively.

Williams - 7 - Did ok when he came on.

Conlon - 6 - Didnt put a foot wrong on the bench and warmed up well! lol. He was just getting ready to come on when nads won the pen. Phew!

All in all a brilliant day. Saw some very long forest fan's faces stuck in the traffic on the M1 where it had been closed just north of meadowhall. The police were just recovering a car from over the banking as we were coming past. Didnt look good.

My stomach was going until we scored in the first half. Thought i was gonna throw up. Getting ready for more now on thursday! Bring it on. Wish it was teh away leg first though like v Brum. Fingers crossed we dont leave ourself a big job to do at their place. We need a good win. 3-0 would be nice!) We owe them one for the two games theyve robbed us already this year.

    Closing of M1 ,

best bit was that the sign telling you to get off at the next exit was just round the corner from the exit before it.

So unless you had the traffic report on the radio you wouldn't know that the queue was a very long one.
