Why have all the past managers failed? Why have all the past managers failed to get a striker in that can score goals? Why have we not had a manager that the fans have really taken to? (possible richie exempt) Why have we not had a decent defence for years? These are the questions i can answer. Davey came in and i was'nt impressed. He gave us something to cheer about with the cup run but without it would he have been as popular? Daveys problems are far deeper than the teams ability to score goals and play well it has to start with fan relations. He comes across as a arrogant know it all who will take his ball in if he dont have the final say ( i am only suggesting this i have never spoke to him) I will find it hard to see what sacking him will do unless and this is the big question CAN U SMASH THE BANK AND BRING IN AND EXPERIENCED PROVEN MANAGER! I know its asking alot but surely if you bring someone like big sam, keegan, etc etc someone who wants paying to try and turn us around then surely it would pay for itself? I know it might sound far fetched but imo we have recruited what i call "gamble" managers over the last 10 years and look whats happend!! If cryne wants to sort the club out bring in someone who knows how to get the best out the players we have because the players we have are good enough to stay in the division, if not be a mid table team. the main problem is the style of football. No service means no goals and no goals means no wins work the rest out for yourself. i was embaressed for the second time in 4 days last night to be a barnsley fan.
because we have no recruited a good manager! No point spending 1mil on a average striker and having a free transfer trying to manage him.
