He is only getting 10 mins a game he needs a run in the team of a few games to get his confidence back. He is better with Hayes but we are 5th in the table so why should Ritchie change a winning system. We should get behind Nads not get on his back.
"not a real football fan" hmmm. If we defended for 90 minutes every game and never scored how many games would we win?
RE: On the other side of the coin However, when playing 2 up front, and both strikers running their nuts off (whilst not scoring) to create space for the other to run into= not many goals. The need then arises for a striker who can capitalise on that space. Can you see where this is leading? if Nardiello had had the 2 easy chances Jarman had in the last 2 home matches, 9 times out of 10 he would have scored.
However He cant be arsed to run more than 2 yards for a ball. He is constantly offside (largely though not allways his own fault) He has missed several gilt edged chances in recent appearances. I agree he likely needs a run to get back on track but he does himself no favours Attack alone does not win games and neither does defence or midfield..its a combination of all disciplines. Ritchie seems to have the balance about right at the moment..if somewhat riding our luck at times.
Van Dutch Bloke When I used to watch the manure games (when they were entertaining) the equine featured one was prominent in a number of defensive actions...in fact all over the pitch. Don't know these days but I am sure he can be arsed to actually move for a ball without com[plaining to all and sundry.
