Been plenty of debate today about whether this is forward thinking, or backward, whether he is wecomed, or whether he is not.

However, one thing for definate is that he always like to put himself in the window, so to speak. Therefore isn't it now then when we should the best of him. We have him until the end of the season. When he goes back I can't see QPR keeping him, therefore he is probably playing for his future.

Effortless performances, no one will want him. Plenty of running, effort, and some goals (he does have a habit of being in the right place) could see him in demand. Personally, come the end of the season I'm not too fussed about keeping him - especially on a long contract, as that's when he seems to disappear. Also, if he does get injured we'll be able to send him back to QPR and save on the wages.

Alround it sounds a win win situation. However, like Dragon has pointed out, he isn't the messiah and he can't do it all alone. His goals played a part in keeping us up last season, but he had a good foil in an inform Stan. Therefore we need to get another striker or buy our current ones a Sat Nav with in built programming to where the net is, other wise there will be too much pressure on Danny boy.

That's all he needs to do. But his goal to games ratio appears to be better at then end of the season then the beginning (don't know if stats support this!), so if he keeps that up it will benefit us.

Before anyone points out, I know he's scpred a smany this season as I have, so his goals to games ratio is currently a big fat 0.

I've not seen a single person refer to him as the messiah though so why does this keep coming up?

He's a good addition to the squad, no arguments with that, just hope he's the first of 3 or 4 new faces we'll see this month.

I'm not saying that anybody has said he is, just that Dragon has stated that he isn't.

    i agree mate

the nards we saw at the end of last season (when he was playing for his future and for the future of the club) was a good quality championship striker and without him I think we would have gone down in hindsight.

Hopefully more of the same - just hope he realises that if he wants to make something of his career then he needs to put in that same work rate. Davey seemed to be the one who could get the best out of nardiello.
