I can't work out what that means. Is it saying that we need a new midfielder because Colace hasn't got a work permit. Or we need a new midfielder if Colace doesn't get a work permit. Either way, we need another central midfielder completely regardless of what happens with Colace.
RE: I can't work out what that means. We only need a CM on loan though. Once everyone is fit, and available, we have got Da Silva, Colace, Howard, Leon and Hassell to cover the 2/3 central midfield slots. We can't afford to take on another CM full time. Other positions are more needy. Like the left hand side.
apparently he has said... that if the Argie FA do not get clearance in the very near future then he will get rid of Hugo and get another midfielder....or words to that effect
RE: apparently he has said... Sounds serious. Hope it doesn't get messy. What if his old club don't want him back? They might have replaced him. We might be stuck with him. Or could the transfer deal be dependent on this clearance??????
RE: apparently he has said... As predicted, sense prevails. Or has someone put their foot down? Hmmm. Significant development.
RE: I thought the deadline davey set was today I'm speculating here, and might be miles off the mark, cough, but maybe Davey has had a look at him and thought, oh fck, send him back.
I did wonder that myself, Didnt a brazillian football pundit laugh when he heard about his move to the championship?
I know we'll never agree on this but I prefer a manager who realizes he's made a mistake and does summat about it. Christensen and Johnson, the two most obvious examples, may have shown Davey enough to realize no way should he pick them. We've had so many managers that have persivered with garbage. A more damaging form of stubborness.
He's not 1st choice now Watford away and Chelsea showed he HAS the ability but not the consistency, so Davey's brought 2 strikers in. Decent option on the bench, IMHO.
