He was hoping for 3 last week and managed to bring in 2. Maybe the other target is no longer available or it fell through. I don't think we really need anyone. We've always had the players, it's just picking the right team and tactics which has been the issue.

i know our squad is big, but in reality it's is essentially geared towards a 3-5-2. switching to 4-4-2 (which i still don't understand), means we either have to play people out of position, or keep recruiting. as well as we played last night - mellis/cywka/dawson/kelvin are not wingers, mccourt is blown after an hour, and jennings doesn't seem to be able to force himself out of the pie shop. it does leave us with a lot of surplus though, and he needs to be moving some players out

We still need a left back if we are playing 442. Kennedy though improved last night nearly cost us a goal as he drifted inside.

    Loans out:

Dagnall, McNulty, Cofie, Dawson, O'Brien any of the young players.

Fat chance of Dawson being loaned out, I'll settle at him not being first name on the team sheet. No disrespect to the man I do actually rate him but it just doesn't work when Etuhu, Perkins and Dawson are shoved into the team together.

Yes I know there's no chance. I think while we have Fox either of Dawson and Kelvin could be loaned out. They both have their merits but could maybe do with a break to recharge the batteries. I now it won't happen though.
