Apparently we've signed a new player from Ossett Albion just been speaking to their manager. Ronnie Branson signed him yesterday, he's a midfielder but not sure if he's for first team or not.
When Was The Last Time......... we signed a none league player that was any good? Mike Turner, Michael Couslon, that Welsh postman I cannot remember the name of who never got a chance up front etc.
Wonder who that is, my stepson plays for the under 19's and reserves at Ossett. Can't say ive ever seen anyone stand out enough to make the jump to professional level but you never know.

Ive seen him play a couple of times, tall lad quite thin from memory. Seemed ok, the scouts for Barnsley must think he has something, good luck to the lad.
Can You............ help me with the name of that Welsh postman who played up front? If you say the name it will click. It was about 10 years ago i'd say.
That's the one cheers. Christ we've signed some pointless people from none league before. I reckon if we had a list of every none league player ever signed, the good signings wouldn't have many names on.
