These will decide SD's fate. 2 losses and he has to go. I don't think that sacking a manager every 12 months ever works. And I was all in favour of giving SD a contract to build a side over 2 or 3 seasons. But last nights showing was absolutely dreadful, and SD showed no sign of being able to change it. And let's be honest about it, that's what he is there for. Why do we insist on pumping high balls up front, to forwards who the opposition defence tower over? We have a team of munchkins more or less, so why do we persist with this tactic? The only time we looked to offer any threat was when we played the ball on the deck. JCR still needs a couple of games, but he looked lively, and when he got the ball he looked dangerous. Why are we always second to the ball? We look to be well off the pace, and last night Cardiff beat us to most of the loose balls. When a ball is in the air, we tend to stand back to let it bounce, rather than attacking it. I see Macken is getting some stick. Let's be honest, he is our best forward, but at the moment it isn't happening for him. I don't think he is getting the service, which doesn't help. The harder he tries though, the less seems to come off, and I think he needs to be rested. What I can't understand is why, when it was obvious the forward's weren't working, did SD not try Mostto? And Leon for Hume? I can only presume Hume was still suffering from jet-lag. Let's hope last night was rock-bottom, and we start to improve. I want SD to succeed, because if he succeeds, BFC succeed. But 1 win out of 6 has rocked my confidence.
he doesnt show any passion doesnt Davey the 2 games I have been to this season he as been stood there arms folded in his burton suit, doin nothing. Ritchie was animated on the side it just showsya eagerness to win and again if he says 'We played well' or 'stonewall penalty' or 'rub of the green', its time he held his hands up and say maybe its my tactics, but I have a feeling hes lost the dressing room, they dont want to play for him. We wont win on sat if Davey is in charge. Simple as
A complete waste of 2 games with a ***** manager. Think long term, he's been given the money to build his own team and he's failed. His tactics are *****, he can't motivate or man manage, what on earth is another 2 games going to prove ??? Lets say he spawns a win in them both, and then goes on to lose the following 5. That'll be 7 games wasted on a ***** manager. We need to get rid now, and give the new man as much opportunity to turn things round as we can.
Why 2 Games? Basically because PC, who will make the decision, will give him the chance to turn it round. Let's not forget, that PC backed SD's appointment.
