    a free commemorative t-shirt left on each seat for the fans, red or white to create red and white "stripes" in the stand....and blue ones for the Wigan fans.

    Flew over the stadium on Friday

    Caught myself thinking it would be the last time I would see it as a used stadium from above.

    New one just down the road looks a lot bigger from the air - about twice the size - but no character.

    Never did get to a game there.

    Saw us in the FA Cup sometime in the late 1980's when I was working down there.

    My uncle took me to the Prem match there.

    It was amazing, even though we lost 5-0. Bergkamp was in his prime.

    Good day all round, except for the result.

    The actual stands are being converted to apartments (as they are listed buildings, or 1 or 2 are at least) and the pitch will be turned into a park.

    Surely anyone who needs to ask that should be automatically barred from owning one (doh)

    If you click on find an appartment for a mere 300K to 400K you can get ..

    Stand = South Stand
    floor = G
    number = 28

    just like a match ticket eh

    And all the fans stayed off the pitch!

    So if 38,000 can do that why can't 8,000 at Oakwell?
