Depends how much he has in the bank, Mr D! I don't know if Mick dabbles with it, but I expect he would make a good few quid on the after dinner circus!
I genuinely think they could be back at square one you know. They wanted either Duff or JFH by looks. Faffed about and now Duff has other suitors, so not sure we will get him now as if one of the suitors (Blackpool) have serious interest, he will be off there to the higher league. JFH is now formally ruled out, we don't know if the zoom story is true or not, but either way he is now out of the running. Warnock I don't think will come out of retirement for us given the approach we do, they won't stop that for a year or two just for him and he has his tour on sale which clashes with the season so it all points to him actually staying out management for the foreseeable anyway until that is over. Big Mick said no straight away and now this Ramsey bloke is set to stay with United to work with Ten Haag. I literally think everyone they want is out of the running near enough and that it is going to rumble on again for weeks and weeks as they send out more questionnaires and start again.
Online Chronicle article suggesting that Stendel and Chris Beech have been approached. Not sure how much guess work is in that mind you. New boss wanted next week with Duff and others on shortlist | Barnsley Chronicle
Some clubs starting to sign players and we don’t even have a head coach. Judge us by our actions indeed. Failed on the getting things in place for preseason part then despite having almost 2 months to get a new coach in place.

Doug at the Chron reporting the zoom meeting story is true, which again raises even more questions as to the competence of certain senior staff members that have been tasked with finding a new head coach
Just gets better doesn't it? They really are useless aren't they. How can it take so long to hire a new head coach? And how can senior staff at a club (or any business for that matter) fail to show for a zoom interview without warning etc. Beyond a joke.
To be honest, though you'd prefer your new coach in as soon as possible to allow time for planning and deciding how to shape the squad ideally, I thing we can still get away with appointing before end of next week when all the players are back. I'm more concerned with the nature of the process itself than the time its taken in this instance and the things that have leaked into the media, officially or otherwise.
Be no worse than the last two we have had. If you do get in, I'll step forward as chief scout or something
