How long will it be before Muller gets sent off/injured then during a game!! Going to cost us sometime!
he's playing the odds very unlikely to see a keeper sent off or injured so he must think it's better to be flexible in the majority of games and run a slight risk
I don't like that tactic When 5 subs are named then there's room to have a goalie there, could understand that when it was only 3 subs named. Yes, it's rare a goalie gets injured or sent off, but seems quite a risk to take.
get Rob Atkinson in remember that save last year and what's more his reflexes were so fast the ref didn't see it
It happened twice last season and IIRC on both occasions we lost anyway.
So having a sub keeper all season made absolutely no difference whatsoever.

However we were 2 nil down when colgan took over from lucas in the 55th minute against derby and we didn't concede another all game (lost 2-1 in the end), it might not have gained us any points but think of what it could have done to our goal difference and confidence with an outfield player in goal. 6 could have gone past us easily.
Agreed - and so unnecessary When I was a lad you only had one sub and no choice. You can now choose from any three of four outfield players which surely is more than enough choice. If you don't give the remaining place on the bench to a keeper then you're foolish and deserve to get caught out and will eventually.
I hate that As others have said, 5 subs is more than enough space and it's a dangerous tactic (unless one of the outfield players is more capable than Colgan). Every manager should be able to cover all of their outfield positions and have an option to change the game with 4 players, especially with the depth of squad we have.
