As well as yourselves obviously, there's some rugby league thingy on in town this weekend.

Not got a clue who's playing at the Millstad but just got off the M4 and there were loads of St Helens coaches, cars and vans. Saw a few Warrington flags, scarves as well.

Fair play to them, that's an early start to the weekend.

Barnsley have sold about 10 tickets. Not much of an invasion.

    Super League Millenium Magic

All 6 games in Super League are being played at the Millenium Stadium this weekend. I think the RFL were hoping that it would raise the profile of the sport in South Wales, but i bet that it being referred to as "some rugby league thingy" is about as good as it will get! :D

Hull KR Vs Hull FC, in Cardiff. Should be interesting!

    RE: Super League Millenium Magic

Didn't realise they were playing there tbh. They don't like each other do they :D

They're trying to get a Super League franchise at Bridgend with the Celtic Crusaders and that would be the best way to get an interest down here. They were formed following the demise of a regional rugby set-up The Celtic Warriors - an amalgamation between Bridgend and Pontypridd. Pontypridd were the best supported club side with gates of 8000+ - but they refuse to watch since the Warriors farce.

I actually used to watch the Blue Dragons at Ninian Park in the 80's.
