I didn't think they would be happy. They charged us a tenner and we charge them 19 quid.

It is out of order, we should have charged them what they charged us at there place & made it £5 each for our fans! Should have been sorted from the off when tickets originally went on sale!

Just causes bad feeling between clubs & might rev them up that bit more!

They mentioning learning from the situation. Basically we won't be getting in at Forest for a tenner again in the future now we have pissed them off.

    Cant blame them

Bearing in mind they included us in their price reductions its bad of us not to do the same for them.

I can just imagine Rob Earnshaw sat in the dressing room beforhand.

'By gum, the unreasonable Barnsley directors. I'll put an extra shift in today for charging our fans an extra £9'.

    RE: Cant blame them

Exactly. Because we haven't passed on the price to them, it means regular away fans to Forest have no chance of tenner tickets there in an hurry.

They should've joined us during the strike then.

We might just have 'reciprocated' by offering them reduced rates for tickets.

Make them pay the full whack. Tossers.

We are out of order here

Remember how unhappy we all were a couple of years ago when someone did that to us

I remember Alan Bloore raising it at top level and getting the same response

Since then other teams have included us in their special deals -including Forest.

Next season everyone will stick 2 fingers up to us when doing a promotion of this type. I think its very poor from us to be honest

    Agreed....

especially after they passed discounts to our fans. Big blunder, especially if any of their fans end up in home areas causing bother.

it stinks Farnham and just about sums up our club

Leicester away wasnt it when the club was up in arms about the fact they'd had the cheek to reduce their prices while charging us full. The supporters trust were calling for all barnsley fans to boycott the game and alan bloore was enjoying a free ticket for the match.

**** 'em lets stop being our backs for away fans. Oakwell must be the only ground where homes fans get slung for standing up rather than away ones.

What Annoys Me About It Is.......

most of our fans who went to Forest for a tenner will have been our most loyal supporters who travel regularly away from home anyway and have a season ticket for us. Those of us will now have no chance at all of getting a reduced ticket the next time we go to Forest because our club are only helping out our glory supporters and part timers with this deal. I hope those purchasing a five pound ticket plan on going to City Ground the next time we go there.

we took about 3k to forrest game this season . if they had charged us full price ,maybe 1 500 would of gone. so they didnt loose out financialy. £19 for away fans is probaley cheepest in league
