    The Sky reporter has just said that whoever is left out of the England side tomorrow out of Broad, Swann, Onions and Harmison, will be allowed to play in the Notts v Durham game that has already started today. How the hell does that work???

    It's been a rule for the last few years

    I think it was brought in as a sweetener to the counties as part of the central contract negotiations.</p>
