Oakwell Upgrades For PL

    Before the playoffs under Big Val, the club had the usual PL representatives visit and discuss upgrades the club would need to carry out if we were successful in gaining promotion to the PL again.

    Anyone know what these upgrades were?

    I imagine media, broadcast, floodlight and changing room tweaks would be required. Any more things?

    It wasn’t that long since we were a UEFA C rated stadium wasn’t it? Just wondered what the differences were.

    I went on one of those stadium tours last summer and they mentioned it. I can't remember exactly what the works were (mainly to do with cameras and VAR I think), but the quoted cost was in the region of £16m.

    If YTBFC pops by, he'll tell you. Think it was him that told us on the tour.
