OK I'm as p'd off as everyone else that he missed the chance yesterday (and others this season) but let's leave off him.....it's not like he does it on purpose.

The lad must be feeling lower than any of us today.

 

but with a larger pay packet than 99% of us.

If I was as bad at my job no-one would be feeling sorry for me.

But having said that I dont actually blame him. he did not ask to sign for this club, Simon Davey actually went and persuaded him to come here.
So I blame the Welsh Tart.

Odejayi CHOSE to take the job. Football is his job, he chose to take a promotion (essentially) if he didnt think he was good enough then he shouldn't have taken the promotion.

 

Listen mate.

This guy is the worst striker I have ever seen at Oakwell and I have seen them all since the late 1950s.

Just look at his stats.

99% of strikers would have had the ball in the net yesterday. He carried the ball so far that he left himself with no target to hit. If he can't score from situations like that then he won't score at all.
If he can't get the easy ones he's not going to get the half chances.

 

So how many promotions have you turned down? nt

It's his job and someone thinks he's worth a starting place week in week out, you and I don't.
Simple fact is it was not him alone who won the game against Chelsea and it was not him alone who lost it yesterday.

i listened to harry redkapp and his comments were that if barnsley had the cardiff strikers they would probably have won that game!

i said this on this site months ago and ive been saying it in the open forum ever since. odejayi is not, has never been, and never will be a footballer. maybe he should try basketball?
fact is, had cech been in the goals v chelsea, he wouldnt have scored that.
if he ever pulls a shirt on for tarn again it will be a disgrace.

As I said before ... one man did not win that game and one man did not loose it yesterday

 

If we had used OUR other strikers we would have probably won the game.
