...on saturday i was getting really frustrated with him in the first half forever jumping and ending up on the floor....but if you noticed either 1 or 2 of their defenders also ended up going flying creating space and opportunity for macken or for our other players, and his flick on for mackens goal was 2nd to non. he really does cause mayhem for the defenders. one thing i will say is that by doing this he gives alot of fouls away, or expects the foul to be his way.

So if odejayi's job is to jump and fall on the floor then he did a cracking job.

another thing i would say about odeajyi is that he should play to the whistle, he got the ball to feet at one point and just jogged past it cos he thought he was offside, made him look daft.

still needs to improve in front of goal tho based on saturdays performance.

great news about hammil!! u reds!

that flick that was second to non looks to me as though Odejayi missed it and came off the defenders head as far as I can see (chinny)

    Have a good look

it never touched KO, but if he had not jumped and put the defender under pressure, the the defender would have had an easy clearance. So therefore the best thing for him to do is JUMP for everything.

"I have nothing to prove" he said today

I beg to differ for a man who has four league goals in two years

Agreed, he's simply not good enough and even he must know that now......

His goal against Chelski is akin to John Barnes's goal for England against Brazil, games and caps on a promise they could'nt keep.

Agreed, no service all game, no through balls, we just lumped it upto him

and thats been fair to Steele's kicking, which was shocking in the sense that it never went to its intended target.

Oddy was a handful and gave their two centre halfs lots to contend with physically

Good luck Oddy, you'll come good

He had the same service as Macken who managed to score and force two good saves from Grant

I do love my club, with a passion, it has given me some......

terrific memories and I hope more to come, some that stand out that still to this day send a shiver down the spine, that goal of Glavins at Hilllsbrough, Clint Marcell giving me orgasmic delight to send us up, Redfearn's leadership and skill on display week in week out, my two son's first games with me, talking them through the team and why it's special to support your home town club ( and they do just as passionately as I), seeing an old tired ground become modern and still keeping its soul, friends gathered at half time cold and wet and with differing ideas of how the next half should be played, my Grandad asking me for an in depth match report every other Saturday, the humour, the first home game of the season when the pitch is impossibly green and just the fact that it's part of me.
Oh I love my club alright, but sometimes the thing we love can make you despair, in all fairness these are good times compared to most of the 40 years+ I've watched them.

    That do?

think macken enjoyed playing with the big lad. KO set up 3 clear chances, of which macken took 1. how many did macken set up for KO?

It's a start, but heaping all kinds of unneccesary personal abuse and vitriol on the club all the time is likely to make folk think that you're precisely not what you just stated. Constructive criticism, a rare and precious commodity on here, is something worthy of admiration don't you think?

    RE: He missed it completely

The ball deflected through to Macken off their defender.
Sorry to be negative after what was overall a good comeback but we need to realise and quickly that Odejayi is way short of Championship standard and get Boggy back in the side.

    How can you constructivley say...

that you believe KO not to be up to playing at this level?

Support him at the match and applaud him when he does something good, but it won't make a difference...
