You whining bunch of girls. On 8th August if you'd been told we'd be in 6th at this stage of season you'd have been delighted. The team (the youngest in the division) has over achieved. Why? Possibly cos of Andy Ritchie and Rick Holden? Possibly because of the team spirit? So you whining buggers try and destroy both! Bravo.... Thank **** you lot arent the manager or one of the strikers cos I bet none of you would have scored today
Preach it brother!! Agree totally. But it is frustrating that we have created this chance we are crying for a known scorer and we not even trying to secure one.
At 4:30 this afternoon, would you have taken a draw? How much more inept can the front players be? At present, the criticism is fair and they will have to learn to take it. There's only one way to answer the critics and that is by getting goals in the remainig few games.
Over achieved my fat arse. This league is crap and we will be kicking ourselves for our failure to convert superiority into points
for our failure to strengthen in january
for our failure to replace burns / allowing him to go.
for missing the best chance of promotion we are likely to get for some time
overachieved my fat arse.
This league is crap and if you believe richteas spiel about that you will believe owt.

on the 8th of august this.... lucky to have a cluub.......... paul hayes will come good........ we will stop fecking moaning when the team starts playig to the level they are capable of nstead of the inept ***** that was displayed by the forwards today nardiello would have scored 3 today FACT so instead of moaning at us open your fecking eyes take your red tinted specs off and smell the god danmmn fecking coffee
Jacob Burns I firmly believe that if Burns was capable of getting goals, AR would not have let him go. I like Brian Howard and I think AR brought him into the team to get goals. He had no worries about letting Burns go. Biran Howard's goals have got us four points in recent weeks. With the strikers misfiring, I think his decision to let Burns go has been fully vindicated.
You make it sound like Nardiello was dropped He was suspended so how many he would have scored is entirely academic. And he was suspended due to his own fecking stupidity. Yes the ref was a fusspot and had pretty much decided to send him off the second he took to the pitch. But Nardiello has to shoulder the blame for that red card, plain and simple.
Hear hear The problems of recent weeks have not been caused in any part, by a lacking in central midfield. It just seems to have coincided with the strikers stopping scoring despite a glut of good chances coming their way.
Only thing that lets up darn wor one defensive mistake. Oh aye, an not scoring enough. I would have done, but she wor 'avin none of it.
Until Howard or McPhail get injured I agree Howard is the better attacking option but we have no worthwhile cover at all.
Burns departure undoubtedly weakened the squad. How many other promotion chasing sides allow that to happen?

Can't agree We are threadbare in Central Midfield. Burns was by far the best player this season at the point he was sold & was well capable of chipping in with some goals too. Howard could have played his part as well, but in Devaney's position. How on earth can Ritchie be vindicated when he has sold a key player and not only failed to replace him but missed the chance to freshen up the squad in other positions as well. 5 points in the last 21 shows how vindicated he was by that decision! A couple of signings would have given the squad a boost, rather than being disloyal.

RE: Can't agree It's not in central midfield we are struggling. McPhail and Howard have dominated the midfield in pretty much every game they've played together, they both have bags of quality and hardly ever give the ball away. The problem lies upfront pure and simple, were not scoring goals! The run we're on has nothing to do with Burns leaving.
But they're not injured are they? So I struggle to see how that makes a difference at this moment in time.
