Interesting - thanks. Sounds like a typical asset stripping business acquisition. Can't see a club like Oldham recovering from their current situation. In today's world they are in for a long spell in L2 or lower.
£18,000 a year for a first team coach at a Football League club is astounding. Probably £10k less than Shirty would get as a PE teacher. Glad we're owned by someone who isn't interested in bleeding funds from the club.
