hasnt declined to the position it is now overnight.... It started in January 2017 and has been going down hill since. Blame Jose or Hecky before that or the owners new and old but it's been in decline with all these people because we refuse to spend any money on championship players. January 2017 was a massive chance to push the club forward in the championship but we sold our best players and never replaced them with adequate players to cope with the standard of this league which from then on has seen us on and absolutely terrible run which will most likely see us playing league 1 football again next season. Mistakes have been made and we are in this position because of them. Signing Hourihane Scowen Winnal and others on 2 year deals meaning we had no option but to cash in on them was a big error from whoever dealt with them and then the signings last summer just weren't good enough and I think we have known that for most of the season. We then had chance in January under new owners to get some experienced players in and try pull away from the relegation zone before hecky jumped ship and left us looking for a manager to pull his new signings together and we got Jose. It was always going to be a tough task for Jose to get us out of trouble with the squad he inherited but he really has baffled me with his erratic selection policy and strange tactics at times. I really don't see us winning a game for the rest of the season and I am resigned to the fact we are down now but we have to learn from our mistakes and start signing players that are capable of getting out of league 1 and look to push forward this summer. I can't see Jose sticking around for next season so we will need to get someone in who knows the league and what it takes to get out of it.
