    Hayward was a very decent player but heading towards the end of his career.. Donovan and Crooks were just dreadful. Ditto Kevin Gallen.

    What have you seen from ritzmaier to say he's a good squad player? Victor should get a club weather loan or permanent looked half decent at times from the bench last season and scored some important goals.

    Interesting that Miller is down as a midfielder on the club website, could be trying him in different position as we are a liittle thin on the ground in some areas.

    Ah fair enough read it wrong and yeah I agree i wasn't struck on frieser at 1st but he works hard like you say good player to have

    Victor will get a club. I honestly think he will do well with that Yates for blackpool. Pace and power together. I honestly think he's under rated victor

    I think Palmer, Frieser, Adeboyejo, Ritzmaier, B Williams and Miller are all coming into the last year of their contracts. I think the club would listen to bids for any of them.

    He clearly hasnt got what it takes to cut it at championship level and is way down the pecking order of CM's.

    Yes, he's in the last year of his contract. Am sure the club will offer him a new one, but if he doesn't accept, and a bid comes in I'd expect the club to take the bid seriously.

    I thought he was decent too. He lives in the same village (Pelsall, between Walsall and Cannock) as me and I see him about occasionally.

    Maybe you're right, but it's harsh to judge based on half a season sat on the bench and another half a season out on loan in Slovakia, where he started 8 of 9 games he was involved. We signed him on a three year deal in Sept 2020 a week before the season started. By the way I've genuinely no idea if he's any good or not.

    No, he's asking you, as you appear to be the font of all knowledge regarding how good or bad footballers are. Just remind us, which club you used to play for, or maybe which country you made any appearances for, then we might think you're not just spouting ****...

    The best thing for him would be a loan to a decent league one club and play every game.

    Has positive attributes, awkward striker, but needs to work on his hold up play and be a bit more savvy in game. That can come from playing more.

    Some if not all of the players mentioned won’t get much if any game time at Oakwell but it may help for them to play games at a good level playing for one of our “sister” clubs.just my opinion.

    The Slovakia loan was bizarre. I’d love to know the thinking behind sending him there. It’s not a league our owners have got a team in & it’s hard to judge much off performances over there.

    Surely a loan to a lower league or even non-league club would have been more useful.

    I'm not being argumentative, but how do you know that it's easier for a professional football club to judge the development in the top flight of the Slovakian league than tier 3 in England.
