Ferenczi is the workhorse,

he has barely had a sniff in the games I have seen since he last scored.

He looks a 10 goal a season man to me.

Just need to find that 20 goal man to partner him up front.

may have something to do with that fact that

no one knew stan, and therefore didn't really know what to expect, and since he set us on the road to recovery, teams quickly knew to ensure he was marked completely.

That said, he still is a handfull for the best of them. so now he was completely marked (ie by 1 and mostly 2), this gives the other striker some real space. They can't put 2 men on every bfc player, so there will be some space at some point.

Both of them can exploit that with great results, but to put 2 men on each striker, will leave huggins of space for wingers/midfielders etc.

I think we have found our best pairing, and something else to consider, is pete, not firing on all cylinders, but still think he has somthing to offer, and the fact that he aint firing everywhere, may lead the opposition into a false sense of security, I am sure, given the right opportunities, he will get goals...

for the first time in ages, I believe we can cause the opposition some real problems with our front pairings!!!

its the other end that worries me still...

I agree, but would also add that we are currently playing the wingers on the wrong sides. This means that they tend to be coming in field rather than outside the full backs. This means that they are crossing less and when they do go outside the full backs, the crosses are being delivered without the necessary accuracy because they are delivered with the wrong foot.

Agree with all...plus I think we have to take into account how long it can take foreign player to FULLY adjust into the equation. Will see the best of the Hungarians next year I think.

A luxury version of Paul Wilkinson

because as we've seen, when he gets a chance he can put it in the net.

(and when I say luxury I mean better quality)

Hendrie and Wilkinson had a classic partnership, big bloke that can get to headers and mix it up a bit, nippy more skillfull bloke who scores the golas. I think Ferenczi plays the way Wilkinson did.

I think there are a lot of players that need a big bloke to feed off, but much fewer players that can actually be the big partner up front.

I thought Kyel Reid as a skillful winger playing off Ferenczi as well as Nardiello, gave us a few attackling options on Saturday and meant we were pushing thier defence quite hard.

    Wilko..

One of my favourite players ever.

Not the most skillful/pacey but the guy was sheer class. Masterstroke by Danny getting him and Super John.

I think we should sign Rajczi as well if the price is right. Skillfull, stroing and - hoepfully - next season the tactics in the early part of the season at least should be less safety first and him and Ferenczi (plus Nads of course) could well take the division by storm (whichever divisoin that may be!). Pete has been played out of position this season and I reckon if he had been played as an out n out forward he wouls have 2 or 3 more goals under his belt.

Trevor Aylott - 15 goal a season man, never prolific but sheer class. You dont need a 20 goal a season man if you build a team that has goals going all the way through it. Stan will do for me.
