1st half of the season: too much pressure to make the play-offs, players perform poorly.
2nd half of the season: we've dropped that far away from the play-offs that making them is pretty much out of the question, as a result the pressure lifts and we perform better.

Is this a constant cycle or have we genuinely turned a corner?

first half of season 1 up front Winnall looking like a lost disinterested soul
Second half a couple of decent wingers and support for Winnall.

Probably more pressure around the relegation zone than the play-offs ... I think it's all about confidence.

right now we are full of confidence (in an attacking sense). would love to see a few more clean sheets so the defence were feeling it too.
