So we wanted a manager who would stamp an identity onto a team, how did we not go for Paul Cook? Some would argue he wasn't available but he ended up at Pompey who I think will walk their league. And he sounds like batman Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He wasn't available until Portsmouth offered him a fortune. Then it turned out he was available, so much so he was willing to do the deal before taking his team to the play offs.
YAWN... Cook Was doing a great job a Chessy but proved he has no loyalty. Dropped down a division to a club that have come into money for a bigger salary. In LJ have good young manager who has proved he can hold his own in this division with limited resources. And we are building a talent young squad.
Cook showed his true colours when he departed Chesterfield for Portsmouth so he's on the same 'not while I draw breath' managers list as Appleton and a couple of others.
why would paul cook come here anyway as soon as he didnt start the first season with a win and top of league people would be eying up replacements. Saying he was just lucky at chessy had a good squad ect ect
