We have recently been issued with Orange SPV M500 phones and I have been asked to look into providing remote access to e-mail/documents via the phones and I've not got the first clue how to do it. I know that I can access our server from home if I input my home IP address as a trusted one, but how would you go about allowing a PDA to access the server remotely because as far as I am aware, they will not have an IP address
Did you get you VPN server running?You can run a vpn client on the m500 and provide access that way. There is also a Microsoft exchange connector that will push email onto windows mobile 5 devices in the same way that the blackberry system works.

I can now get my home IP address rejected by our server whereas before all I got was page cannot be found.</p> I'm not really sure what to do setup a VPN or allow specific IP addresses access to the server.According to the server,I have configured Remote Access, it's just that no-one can access it yet!!</p> Thanks for your help CT...</p>
