What's gone wrong with this lad? I must admit after his first few games I thought he was quality and was worried that a big club would be in for him in January. However he's just not lived up to the billing at all, did I just overestimate how good he was? Is it all the niggles he's had? Attitude? I can't fathom it myself.
I would imagine his attitude tbh, the lad does have a attitude problem. Unless paddy's had a go on there lass.
Things were going well for him and then he got injured on international duty and hasn't been the same player since.
Playing in a w@nk team that creates nothing. Injury knocked him back, and hasn't had a run of 90 minute games since.
Whilst the niggly injuries don't help that he appears to keep getting, for me we don't play to his strengths. Would be nice to see him given a run with the more attacking formation we have.
A young player who probably feeds off confidence being picked in a team that, at the time, crested zero opportunities per game. Confidence sapped. If he were in a team at the top of the table that created loads of chances I suspect he would do well. Can't say I've spotted owt wrong with his attitude.
Me neither (attitude) - never sure why it's not enough to say you don't rate someone, they have to have a p-poor attitude or something just to add weight to it.
Think he has only done 90 minutes once, against Brum and Flicker probably left him on because we were creating chances for and gifting goals to em and he probably thought **** it.
What makes you think that? Genuine question not a dig or anything. To me he runs has blood to water every game, doesn't strike me as someone with an attitude problem. For me I feel he didn't get enough service, I think it affected O'Gradys performances too to be honest.
Another example this season (up to Wilson arriving) of some players getting more chances to 'find form' than others. Still think that with the benefit of a full season in England he'd be a top quality laiker.
I'd like to see him given a run in Danny's team. I still think he could be a very good player at this level.
I like him. Think there's a talented player in there. Thing is, he's expensive. And injury prone. Rumour has it he's always got something wrong with him. Against Wednesday - his last decent game - Paddy created three good chances for him that he just failed to get on the end of. I expected him to kick on from there but it hasn't happened and the more I look at him overall since he's been here the more I think he's no better than Dagnall, who folk always called dogshit. In fact, he reminds me of O'Connor. As in, he looked quality in a couple of games and then was injured, or ***** when he played before disappearing into the ether. It doesn't look as though Danny fancies him either, even with so few striking options. Which says a lot.
He'd be a great asset for a team like Leicester, he's a goalscorer, but to be that he needs chances creating for him. Unfortunately that is not what he got with us, can't remember him having too many chances, but he may be worth another look in DWs team.
I haven't noticed any apparent attitude problems either. I reckon if the service was decent he'd stick a couple in every now and again. Give him another chance with the 'new' sqaud.
Much I admire your championing of Dagnall I don't see him breaking into any national side not even San Marino. The difference I'd say between the players is that in a decent side that created chances for him Pedersen would score goals Daggers much as admire him in QPRs side would be the same kid. Trying hard, occasional glimpses of real talent undermined by his complete inability to score regularly.
Trouble is we have seen what Daggers could and couldn`t do with chances, whilst with Pedersen we aint yet and may never find out.
i also think there's a good goal scorer in there. danny clearly isn't going to hang around waiting for that to happen, but he has been hampered by injury and a $hit team. now that danny has his squad for rest of the season, i do think he will give him some time to fire, but probably not much.
Think he's got monk on- expected to piss goals in this league and get a move to the Prem as per Vaz Te. Instead of that he's hardly figured. And he's costing us a fortune.
Pedersen has had chances. And a decent international striker would make their own. I just think I've seen nothing from him that I didn't see from Dagnall. Not suggesting Daggers was amazing, far from it. But I think folk are being kind to Pedersen by suggesting nobody has created owt for him.
