Do people think we have a better squad now compared to the squad we had under Ritchie?
Not the team as a whole, but player for player
E.g Muller or Colgan?
Foster or Reid?
McCann or Anderson?
etc etc etc

This isn't really open to debate as the only player from the Ritchie era who would get in the team now is McIndoe simple as that As I said in the other thread it would be interesting to see what signings Ritchie would have made if he had been backed to the hilt like Davey
But surely a lot of the money this summer at least, has come from the cup run that Davey very much played a part in?
I know last summer he spent a lot, but many have said Ritchie turned down the money he was offered

a lot of the big fee/wages players were brought in before the cup run - we've only really brought Hume in since then I can't believe that any manager would turn down new players or funds but if Ritchie was turning down ***** like McCann, Mattis and Eckersley you can't really blame him
Player for player we have a better squad now And so we bloody well should have with all the money that's been spent. Ritchie's team was put together on 10 bob and a conker. Davey's has cost millions. However, there's very little difference in the way the two teams perform and I reckon I preferred watching Ritchie's. Ritchie's team certainly had a lot more heart. By the way, McCann or Anderson? Grant McCann made his debut for Barnsley on the 25th November 2006 in the 1-0 victory over Ipswich when he got the late winner. This was 4 days after Andy Ritchie was sacked! It was Simon Davey's first match in charge.
In future Don't waste your time talking to Owen Blackadder. I'm sure you've got far more fulfilling things to do. Like scraping your **** down a rusty cheese grater for instance. That's my tip of the day.
RE: In future Annoyingly I kept telling myself to stop because I have my theory test tomorrow and it was interrupting my revision. Never mind, good tip though!

All i shall say is Marc Richards goals total is better than KO's and he had far less games at this level!
