Muller..8 some fantastic saves though did not deal with crosses in the 1st half and almost gave a goal away MOTM

    Tinhinho..6 looked quite comfortable

Souza..6 solid enough, some good work.

Foster..6 Just another day at work.

Van Hoemmet..5 looked decent enough in the 1st half but faded.

JCR..7 scored a fantastic goal and caused problems though not much in the way of crossing.

Howard..6.5 Played well enough with some nice touches but wayward passing. Needs Da Silva type at his side

Hassell..5 Did not do too badly in an unfamiliar role though gave the ball away quite a bit. Dont want to see him in that position again unless we have no other choice.

Ricketts..5 Some flashes but lost the ball to easily. Not fit (good enough?) Would rather have seen Leon in his place.

Ferenczi..5 never looked like scoring though to be fair the midfield just don't provide the forward moves/crosses.

Nads..6Started brightlyand had early chancesthough on one occasion, judging by Howards jesticulations, maybe a cross would have been in order as Howard appeared unmarked in the box. Did little in the 2nd Half and unsurprisingly appeared to lack fitnesss and went off with cramp?

    Subs.

Kozluk..5 did what he had to do. I'ld like to see him start.

Togwell..5 did OK...should have started in the place of Hassell for me, in a more conventional formation.

KO..6 did well in his time on the pitch, actually creating a decent chance or twoand winning the ball in the air which, before his appearance, niether stan or nads could manage, leading to us being under long spells of pressure in the 2nd Half.

All in all..ecellent goal, clean sheet, away win, and rare progress to the 5th rundbut mainly a demonstration of how lacklustre we are, particularly in midfield and creating chances. You can complain all you want about strikers failures but if the midfield does notcreatedecisive forward attacking moveswe will be reliant on a spot of luck or the odd wonder goal.

Da Silvaand Macken please. Keep hold of Kozluk and more importantly Muller. Lets get back to 4-4-2

Thank you for that but I don't understand how having De Silva back will make Howard a better passer of the ball.

    It wont.

But another midfielder who can distribute will mean he does not have to do it all by himself.

    RE: It wont.

Thanks for that. I agree with your comments abot De Silva. Last week at QPR, i thought Leon looked creative and would like to see him have a good run in the side. Otherwise what was the point of bringing him to the club. Mind you could say that abot Kim and Mossto.
