Firstly to everyone who keeps saying lets get behind the team everygame etc why dont you get off your arses and start singing??

theres no point coming on here so why dont we get behind the team for 90 mins etc??? why dont you get off your arses and start a song instead of waiting for us to start one!

I couldsing you my rendition of move on up by curtis mayfield if thiswould this help?

I used to sing whilst getting pelted with darts and bricks back in the 70's ...did you?

As I see it if you want to sing, then sing. If you don't, then don't, it doesn't make you a better supporter either way

And besides, you young uns nowadays have no sense of timing, its like its a race to get to the end of the song.... slow it down dude, let it rattle round abit.

Got to admit I'm not much of a singer

The late 70's and 80's were my singing days :D - Still shout and get behind the team though - it's not the lack of singing that gets me but the ones who moan from start to finish!

The pace of the songs does seem to be getting faster. "Red Army" just gets faster and faster. I do think we need to start creating more atmosphere in Oakwell though. I thought that the teams improvement yesterday coincided with the increase of noise from the crowd. Maybe not just coincidence. If the team aren't playing well then we need to lift them, I am convinced that the extra noise gets the adrenalin pumping and so at least increases the players intensity and output.

I sit in the middle of the ponty and there was a fair bit of noise from everywhere. The right hand side is always the loudest but there are other areas that sing once it gets going. I thought the referees performance helped us yesterday. His one-sidedness (is it a word?) seemed to get everyone going. Also thought Steele's saves in 2nd half lifted everybody. It has been like a morgue in Oakwell some weeks in the last few years.
