we only got 2,000 tickets for a local derby on a bank holiday. yet we cant sell all the tickets has some got sent back. sometimes i wonder if we deserve to go up with the poor backing the team get from stay aways etc.

I apologise for being such a poor fan Local derby?!?! Chesterfield ain't a local fecking derby, they are in a different county!
RE: I apologise for being such a poor fan It is for me mate . I worked there for 7 years. The College I worked at Runs Chesterfields Academy. So I really want to stuff em. (battered) (battered) (battered) (battered) (dancin) (dancin)
if you had our facts right... The club said they would be on sale before and after the match yesterday and i talked to at leats ten people round me that had ben to the box office and they had stopped selling them at noon to send them back in time. So it is the clubs fault for sending the tickets back early on the biggest attendance of the season when alot of fans were hoping to buy tickets, not the fans fault.
same scenario for me too I was queuing up for my cup tickets and spoke to a large group of fans that had all gone for chesterfield tickets only to be told 'sorry we stopped selling them a few hours before we knew everybody would get here'. I would say there was no less than 25 people in the group that were unhappy.
Last season........ They let folk pay in on the day. I doubt it will be any different this time, but you'll probably have to stand in the uncovered bit.
RE: I apologise for being such a poor fan That's right. Why they get coverage on Radio Sheff gets me they should be on Radio Derby. Same with Mansfield get them on bloody Nottingham radio.
RE: I apologise for being such a poor fan Went to Chesterfield 2 years ago and witnessed the attitude of the local constabulary. This was, namely, penning us in a street for half an hour, causing distress to old and young alike. There is no way I am going to return to any ground to be treated like this.
