Twenty-twenty match at Headingley tonight - Yorkshire vs World XI for his Testimonial
Michael Vaughan was captaining World XI who included Strauss, Flintoff, Richie Richardson and more.

I really wanted to go but rang YorkshireCCC on Thursday to be told it was box office sales only as they wouldn't post tickets out over the Bank Holiday.  So I went from work to Headingley on Friday about 4ish to find the box office closed.  A member of club staff told me that tickets were no longer on sale and you had to pay on the gate but not to worry, there's plenty left.

What she didn't tell me was that the "plenty left" was in the hands of independent ticketing agencies who were continuing to sell them.  Ceefax this morning declares the match a sellout. I rang the box office who now just have a recorded message saying it is a prebooked sellout and no tickets will be available on the day.

    Thanks Yorkshire!!

But not to worry, the thunder and lightening hit Leeds 10 minutes before the scheduled start of play so I'll just watch the storm from my warm, dry bedroom!

Still, it was to get Vaughany a few bob and they'll have to refund everybody now so you got to feel a bit for him.

    Ouch

In that case I'd imagine they'll rearrange it.
