WHY NOT GIVE THE WORLD THIS CHRISTMAS?

REDS boss Simon Davey gave his thoughts following tonight's draw at Swansea City.

Simon said: "I am angry at the moment. I thought our gameplan worked perfectly for the first hour or 75 minutes and we did everything right. We were two goals up and we should not lose that lead from there.

"I am angry with them at the moment. Swansea are a good team and they scored a good goal. That changed the game but I thought we had quelled them tonight.

"If we collapse like that in the end then we got what we deserved. It hurts at the moment".

 

So why doesn't Davey shout instructions out at the players!!????? JESUS CHRIST!!!!

In all fairness

You can't blame the manager every time we concede a goal, the players need to take some responsibility.

 

was he not that angry against Preston and Blackpool?????

With bottom 3 losing again it was such a good opportunity to chill at Christmas

 

what kind of instruction is that then...........JESUS CHRIST...?? how about 'hold the ball' or 'don't let that prolific striker scotland run towards goal and shoot in the last minute'? that would be much more constructive surely?

Either way, you would have thought they would have learnt after Blackpool, Preston, Burnley and countless other games. How slow is Davey??

Davey does'nt control players like fifa, what do you want him to do exactly? i no its gutting but come on he cant control things like that happaning.

Does davey say that our gameplan was working perfectly until the moment that HE changed it and brought odejayi on?

 

I'm certainly not Simon Davey's biggest fan, but

I think you're spot on there, Allen. The players have to shoulder some responsibility for tonight's failure to clinch three points. It's good to see the manager so angry with the team's inability to see the game out and get the win.

That to me says the players didn't continue to the gameplan davey set.

odejayi came on on 69 minutes. so he comes on at the point that it all goes tits up, just a coincidence i guess?

Davey caused the defeat today by AGAIN naming a bench with 3 strikers on it leaving him absolutly **** all in the way of options for changing it when he needed to and the only sub he knows how to make is to bring a striker on. it has cost us 2 points AGAIN today and has cost us dozens in the last two years
