If that was the choice then I'd go for
    Ainsworth
    Edinburgh
    Wilder
The others are flights of fancy.

Ainsworth is a good candidate so is Edinburgh but has inherited a very very good player at this level. I would chose mark Burton until end of season.

I was thinking about David Watson earlier myself. Unproven and I doubt we could match his England and Southampton package

    But he's a definite maybe

He lost one and won all rest of his games how is that embarrassing? He knows the players and not much needs to change massively the squad picks it's self and the formation does too.

I played under him in the academy and I have no good words to say about him that's all I can say. I was glad when I got a new manager and the season was over with him.

P.s Isn't Owen Coyle head coach at Houston Dynamo? Doubt he'd want to leave that scenery for this place.

Pearson? keep dreaming. Why would Clough leave a job he's been in like 5 mins?

Offered it 3 times by the greengrocer, rightly said thanks but no thanks. Complete legend here, why risk that?
