I have mentioned this guy before.

Playing for SK Brann in Norwegian premier league.. Top scorer last season with 22 goals.
Full Norwegian international. 9 Goals in 27 games for Norway.

Top scorer in Norwegian premier league in 1999,2000,2001,2007.

Signed for them on a 3 year contract in 2006 for about £350,000

Probably under a year left on his contract. Surely worth a look. 31 yrs old so has a good 2-3 years in him yet.

Rosenborg have the best team but play like **** now. Brann is not doing so well in the league this year. I don´t know if it´s the other teams who have gotten better or the better team who is poorer. Fredrikstad who is an average team in the Tippeliga, is leading. Stabaek that is number 2, have some quality players. They have struggled a little after selling one of their best midfielders, Somen Tchoi. Tromsø who have ended mid-table or under mid-table is number 3. Norwegian teams have not doing that well in European Cups either.

Lillestrom who usually have been one the better teams, is struggling to avoid relegation.

PS. There will be more teams in the Tippeliga next year so only 1 team is relegating and 1 team have to play play-off

Here are some players that should be looked at:

Tarek Elyounoussi (Fredrikstad) might be sold soon.
    Young very talented player.

    Alanzinho (Stabaek)
Brazilian striker. Very good with the ball. have just signed a new contract.

Morten Moldskred (Tromso) Striker partner to Rushfeld.

Trond Olsen (Bodo/Glimt) Very fast left winger

But i think i would prefer Erik Huseklepp. Brann use him as winger left and right. And he is a fast one. Huseklepp is not used in starting 11, but as a sub. most of the time.

    2004-2005 Fyllingen 42 (12)
    2005- Brann 30 (7)

Le Mans ended Up signing this guy......

They got a proven goalscorer for 2 million euros in July 2008...

Hes about 6 ft 2 as well so exactly what we are missing in that department.

In the current campaign in the top French division he has scored 4 in 8 games.

I think Daveys internationally renowned scouting network missed a trick here, should have taken my advice for nowt instead. I bet his wages would have been cheaper than what they were prepared to offer Phillips as well.
