PS3 / PSN question

    New to PS3 / PSN (xbox user)

    On PSN (on PC) kid has noticed that if you choose North America as your country, there are PSone downloadable games that do not appear on the UK site (particularly Spyro)

    Can anyone confirm whether I can buy the download on the PC from the American site and download to my profile (I haven't checked on PS3 but suspect I wont be able to buy it direct via PS3 console as it will know I am in UK) and then download it to my PS3 account via the profile, and whether it should work as normal

    think I found my own answer. need to go via sony entertainment network site rather than PSN

    next question. where can I buy PSN cards cheaper than face value. iTunes and Xbox do it, so I presume Sony do?

    create an american account on the PS3 (make sure it has an american address)
    buy a US PSN card, use it on your american account
    buy the game(s) you want, start them downloading
    sign out then sign back in as your "normal" account
    once the download is complete, install it and it will work on your "normal" account

    You can 100% defiantly get spyro with an English account
