reacently swapped my 360 for a PS3 and i prefere the PS3. Its got more features like the wireless control pads being rechargeable withouth having to pay £20 for the rechargeable battery like ya do with the 360. the ps3 is allready wireless and its far quieter when running than the 360. Only thing holding it back at the minute is the games available but that will change in the next 3 or so months when top titles start coming out. id definately get a ps3 if i were you

    XBOX for me

Much prefer the games - Blu ray is still an unknown quantity

I was a PS2 dude up until last year. I couldn’t wait for the PS3 to come out so ended up buying a 360 and glad I did. Far better than the PS3 for choice.

My cousin bought a PS3s, within a few weeks he starded having problems with the machine not reading disks so don’t be led to believe only 360’s are capable of problems. I have many friends with 360’s and no one I know has had any problems and with their’s and the online play is sound.

X-box live costs £30 a year for Gold Membership which means you get full access or you can pay monthly.

You can get Silver membership for free which means you can download anything as with the gold membership but can’t play online games.

Just be careful where you buy it from and make sure they do a proper warrenty.

My cousin bought his PS3 from Choices who only offer a 14 day store warrenty so when he took his back they refused to do anything about it so he had to send it to Sony for a new one. PC World offer a 12 month one.

I'd go with the PS3 if I was you mate. All this ballax about there being more games for the X-Box is obvious, it's been out a lot longer. And the X-Box it seems has more reliability problems, thats one of the main reasons I went against it - as well as having to pay to play online.

    Not the quantity of games

Think the quality of the games is much better - Gears of War , Bioshockgreat games . Not many Ps3exclusive gamesof thatcalibre at the moment . The reliability issuehas been addressed asMicrosoft have now extended the warranty - the first batch were rushed out and had the three dreadedred lights </p>
