Posted on a City website after tuesdays game at Sheff Utd. I didn't see it but heard all about it - I was on the same bus! Just about the only time anyone managed a smile on the way home. "After what seemed like an eternity (and when I checked my watch, it proved it had been)our pre- war coach finally made Strensham services. We arrived the same time as a coach load of Man U fans from down west somewhere, all shirt wearing decent enough pop and crisp fans, and there was no problem or likelyhood of any occurring, which to some on here would and should agree, to be the norm, but not too many years ago, if we are honest, it would probably have led to some confrontation, not condoning that, just aknowledging it." "Anyway, to the story finally, whilst queueing to pay for our goods, Macca approached one of the Man U fans, in a friendly manner and asked him would he mind holding a magazine for him, just for a second whilst he went back to buy a newspaper, the chap was happy to help out and stood there oblivious to the magazine title which I believe was something along the lines Of "Hot boys in Uniforms" - you get my drift." "Needless to say he didn't see Macca again, but he did see a lot of funny looks off the others in the queue and the shop attendent when he got to the counter."
A Sheff Utd told me they were taunting JFH with "Your just a fat Eddy Murphy" is that a common one? Is it racist as well?
RE: A Sheff Utd told me they were taunting JFH Wouldn't have thought it was racist - I've had this before - say a black guy looks likesomeone elseyouget called racist but if you say a white person looks like someone else they don't say anything. </p> Ooh doesn't she look like Vivtoria Beckham - fine</p> Ooh doesn't he look like Eddie Murphy - racist! (NOOO)</p>
I thought Eddy Murphy was a bit old hat, But it rhymes better than "Just a fat <font size="2"><font size="1">Kanye West</font> </font>" I suppose</p>
Fat Eddie Murphy......... is a regularly sang song to him that we just didn't bother with. My mate said when he watched his West Ham play Boro, all the three home ends were chanting it to him and he was laughing, so obviously likes it and doesn't mind.
