This would obviously be in my dreams and as in my dreams I am the bestest ever to play for Barnsley it would have to be me.
The greatest ever would have to take it so Redders. As fond as I am of Barnard and rate him one of the best ever for us in his position, I still can't get past the Wembley miss being so significant.
Honestly, how do you know this stuff! I genuinely can't remember who scored last time out. Or what the score was.
As long as its not Bob Parker...I once saw him miss one whereby he sliced it big time and it hit the corner flag weststand ponty end we lost 3 1 at home to Workington Town I do believe
I'm curious... Do you have a good overall memory or is it just football? And if it's the latter, is it specific to BFC? It's very impressive, however it works!
Thank you for your kind comments, mate. Much appreciated. I'm lucky to have a decent memory, which helped when I was Payroll Manager for the Stocksbridge Steel Works. Though some of the blokes posting on here whose wages I was responsible for may disagree!
Andy Gray Scored 22 penalties in his career, 6 for us. https://www.transfermarkt.com/andy-gray/elfmetertore/spieler/13575#/
My memory is wonky. I can recall matches from my youth and teenage years with clarity, but ask me who scored in a game this season and I'm hopeless. My wife has a much better memory than me, she remembers everything. Then again, don't they always...
