    The greatest ever would have to take it so Redders.

    As fond as I am of Barnard and rate him one of the best ever for us in his position, I still can't get past the Wembley miss being so significant.

    As long as its not Bob Parker...I once saw him miss one whereby he sliced it big time and it hit the corner flag weststand ponty end we lost 3 1 at home to Workington Town I do believe

    I'm curious... Do you have a good overall memory or is it just football? And if it's the latter, is it specific to BFC?

    I'm lucky to have a decent memory, which helped when I was Payroll Manager for the Stocksbridge Steel Works. Though some of the blokes posting on here whose wages I was responsible for may disagree!:D

    My memory is wonky. I can recall matches from my youth and teenage years with clarity, but ask me who scored in a game this season and I'm hopeless. My wife has a much better memory than me, she remembers everything. Then again, don't they always... :)
