    You say IF we fk it up. I'm more positive mate and believe we won't fk it up. No need for any relegation clause.

    Don't know if you guys are getting it but on Scottish TV we have the big debate between Salmond and Darling in a head to head.

    This is to be broadcast on Tuesday night. (I think). Certainly will be worth watching. Hopefully can clear up 1 or 2 issues.

    If we're not getting a new scoreboard (and we're not - completely understand why) can they at least turn the old one off - its embarrassing and largely unreadable. Better nothing than that imo.

    The thing is Tomfun if it was Yorkshire for Independence don't tell me you would not grab the chance to rid yourselves of the maggots of Whitehall and Southern England who screw us for their benefit.

    Britain is a very unequal country and hopefully gaining Independence will go a long way to rectifying that situation here in Scotland.

    The worrying bit is if we fail we will never be allowed to forget it and be raped even more by those parasites Cameron, Osbourne, IDS and the rest.

    tbh, i genuinely doubt the independence campaign is really that important to most people south of the border. crack on. but picking and choosing which bits it wants to keep - nah. it's all or nothing, for me. in or out.

    if i decide to quit my job to be a contractor, i don't get to keep the pension, paid holidays and job security

    Fair point Tomfun. So we go keep our oil/gas reserves. Tell England to take back the nuclear weapons and subs in the Clyde. Saving Scotland billions of pounds and adding to England's huge debt. Saving our NHS in the process unlike your own NHS getting systematically dismantled by this Govt determined to privatise the whole lot down south.

    Realistally this referendum SHOULD be of huge importance to all down south as the economic implications to England could be greater than most will admit.

    Makes me laugh when people say we are in a pub league so don't need a scoreboard. I bet every other team have at least one scoreboard better than ours, it's a joke and an embarrassment that's needed changing for years.

    Yep. Exactly. If I was Scottish I'd vote for independence for that reason. As a Yorkshireman I don't want Scotland to leave and for us to be even more exposed to the inequalities.
